How long does it take?

It depends on how comfortable you are with the system. It can take 20 minutes for a simple recipe, and longer for more complex recipes with more ingredients. The first recipe always tends to take longer as you familiarize yourself with LabelCalc but most customers have expressed how fast it'll take once they are familiar with the process.

For our experts to make your labels, turnaround time may take up to a week depending on scheduling. In most cases we are able to expedite results within two days.

Can I access my recipes and analysis at anytime?

Yes, you may access your recipes and analysis at anytime.

What if you don’t have one of my ingredients in the database?

In the event that you can't find your ingredient in our database, you can enter your own new ingredient using the "My Supplier Ingredients" tool. You will need to obtain the 100g unrounded nutrition facts which should be available from your supplier.

I made a mistake with a product recipe, can I modify it?

Of course, you may modify any existing product without additional charges until you've downloaded the actual label image*. You will always be shown a full preview of the label image prior to downloading. You will always be able to download, change the label format and review the nutrition results and nutrition facts label at anytime without any additional costs.  *Modification charge after downloading is $60.

How will I get my FDA-compliant label?

Once you are done entering your product recipe and receive the nutrition analysis, you will be able to download a high-resolution image of your nutrition facts panel label to your computer at anytime. LabelCalc provides the label in 3 standard image formats (JPEG, TIFF & BMP). See examples here.

Do you provide compliant labels for Canada?

At this time, no. While LabelCalc will provides acceptable nutrition analysis, the label provided by LabelCalc is only ensured for FDA-compliance (USA) and rounding rules.

Do you provide an ingredient statement?

Yes. LabelCalc will provide a weighted-order ingredient statement available for download seperate from the FDA-compliant label. This includes the option to add the additional allergen statement.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No, there are no contracts involved. Everything is paid upfront per label or unlimited for one year.

Are my recipes safe and confidential?

Absolutely, you are protected by our confidentiality agreement which protects us from sharing your recipe with anyone else.

What types of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
